BCA
It's frustrating to be able to pass the physical portion of the PFA but struggle with the BCA. There IS a difference in exercise + nutrition for health vs. fat loss. "Diet" doesn't have to be a dirty word!
The Forum Focus is on small habit changes, not drastic ones that aren't sustainable.
Cardio

Hate cardio? No problem. Anything that gets your heart rate up is cardio! Maybe that's Zumba! So if you "hate running" don't worry. We can make cardio doable!

Do you only work with Navy/Military Personnel?
Nope! Although very familiar with military fitness tests, I’ve worked with many clients who have zero association with the military. Whether you want to get your body back and compete in your first bodybuilding show or train for a marathon, your plan will be custom built for you!
What can I expect in training?
Your program will be custom-built by Valerie, an NCCA-accredited fitness trainer, weight management & fitness nutrition specialist. We’ll establish your goals with a timeline and some habits to get things moving in the right direction. You’ll tell me your availability for exercise & what equipment you have access to. From there, it’ll be all about accountability and making course corrections to achieve maximum results with learning along the way! Your habits, goals, tracking, and workout plans will all be provided through an app for maximum accountability!
What ages do you work with?
Any age! While most clients fall into the “middle-aged” category, previous and current clients range in age from 14 to 80+!
How do I know this will work?
Over the years, I’ve helped hundreds of people pass & excel at the PRT, lose hundreds of pounds, and make their “comeback” from unique challenges and achieve lifelong habit changes.
I don’t work with anyone. We’ll have a chat to make sure we’re both a good fit for each other and ensure I can truly help you meet your goals and that those goals are healthy and make sense within a reasonable timeframe.
I can’t promise you a result. But, I can promise you transparency on what it will take and a plan that makes the most sense to get there. For some, that might mean a chicken and broccoli diet and 5 days a week of training. For others, it may mean incremental progress minimizing fast food and starting with 2 days a week of training. I’ll meet you where you’re starting at and we’ll go from there!
